Multiple Cerebral Infarctions Associated with Toxocariasis

ABSTRACT
Background: Symptomatic toxocariasis is usually manifested as visceral larva migrans, however, nervous system involvement is a rare complication.
Case Report: We report a 52-year-old woman who was admitted of several neurological symptoms with hypereosinophilia and multiple cerebral infarctions which was caused by toxocariasis.
Conclusions: We concluded that toxocariasis should be always considered in the differential diagnosis in case of cerebral infarction with hypereosinophilia.
