ABSTRACT
Seizure, especially status epilepticus is a medical emergency that should be ceased promptly because of the high morbidity and mortality. This article deals textwide and current management of status epilepticus, including choice of anticonvulsants on the stage of status, technique of EEG monitoring, drug withdrawal and switching methods.
