ABSTRACT
The neurologically critically ill patient can be monitored with various advanced neurological monitoring techniques according to the underlying diseases. Especially, in patients with status epilepticus or decreased mental status, continuous monitoring (cEEG) or EEG provides important functional information about patient’ status as a part of the multimodality brain monitoring. This review will discuss about the usefulness of cEEG in the neurologically critically ill patients.
